Indian skipper Virat Kohli didn’t have a great time with the bat on his comeback to home soil after spending nearly 3 months outside Asia. His team too suffered a painful last-ball defeat to Australia, who currently have the lead in the 2-match T20I series which will end with a clash in Bangalore on Wednesday.

The Indian captain was busy sweating it out in the practice sessions on Tuesday along with his teammates. Today was a very eventful day in the country as India reverted strongly to the recent attack in Pulwama, which led to the death of over 40 CRPF jawans on February 14. The Indian Air Force barged into the Jaish-e-Mohammad training camp and blasted their area.

This news came in as a huge relief for millions of Indians who were desperately waiting for a comeback from the Indian armed forces. It was the IAF who provided that moment of relief and this heroic act has reportedly led to the death of over 250 terrorists. Many icons from the cricketing fraternity expressed their elation on social media but one notable name was missing.

The Indian captain was yet to react since the news broke out but his cryptic message sent fans into a frenzy. He posted a picture of him training at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore and he used the caption “How’s the josh?”, which was Vicky Kaushal’s catchphrase in recent superhit film “URI – The Surgical Strike”.

Here’s what he posted on Facebook.

A high-scoring encounter expected in Bangalore

The Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore is no stranger to high-scoring encounters and we have seen many times in the past batsmen making mockery of the bowlers. Wednesday might as well turn one such day as a great batting deck awaits both these teams.

India might have the edge in that regard considering they are playing their full-strength batting unit. Australia are not lagging far behind, but their recent crisis is yet to find a solution. Although the Vizag game was a huge morale booster for the visiting team, they will find it very difficult to replicate something similar in the second T20I.
