Kevin Pietersen, the former England cricketer stays quite active on social media in recent times. He is a ferocious personality who never shies away from stating his opinions on social media. Sometimes it works for him whereas sometimes it backfires too.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 outbreak has created an alarming condition across the globe by taking several lives. Moreover, there is still no stopping over the same as the researchers are yet to find a proper vaccination for the same. The people are under serious fear of going into social gatherings.

Even sporting events like international tours, IPL and other domestic T20 leagues have been postponed to the future until further notice. Many governments have announced locked down in their country as a step to take precaution against the life-threatening virus.

Joining the bandwagon to spread awareness regarding Covid-19, Kevin Pietersen has shared a heartwarming tweet for the fans. He feels that the Indians should stay attentive under such conditions. They should sit back at their homes for some days until the situation comes under control. He also added that everyone should join hands to fight back stronger against Coronavirus. In the end, he also thanked his Hindi teacher Shreevats Goswami, who is also a domestic cricketer in India.

The former player took to his Twitter handle and wrote a post in Hindi language that read, “Namaste India hum sab coronavirus ko harane mein ek saath hai , hum sab apne apne sarkar ki baat ka nirdes kare aur ghar me kuch Dino ke liye rahe , yeh samay hai hosiyaar rahene ka .App sabhi ko der sara pyaar.”

Recently the ODI series between India and South Africa also got postponed due to the outbreak of the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly affected the sports industry due to which the authorities have to suffer heavy losses. The biggest of all is yet to come as BCCI is going to decide about IPL 2020. However, there are reports that it might get postponed for a couple of months until human life paves back to the normal track.
