And Tahir was quick to show why he is loved so much by the Super Kings fans by responding to the fans tweet quickly. The leg-spinner first apologized to the fans for failing to do well against Sunrisers Hyderabad before writing:
“Humbled by your love sir. Can imagine how long it would have taken for you to do this. Sorry didn’t bowl to the expectations you ppl have in me today. Apologies if given another chance to play will do my very best #yellow”

Imran Tahir credits MS Dhoni:
Tahir is Chennai Super Kings’ highest wicket-taker in the season. With 16 wickets from 11 games, he is also second in the list of Purple Cap. And the 40-year old has credited Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni for his performance this year.
“I have been working hard and playing with MSD, I have been learning a lot and I am really happy to be a part of CSK.”
