Virat Kohli has been receiving praise from all over ever since former England skipper Michael Vaughan revealed a gesture from the India skipper and his wife Anushka Sharma for the Indian bowlers. The cricketer-turned-commentator, in his tweet, revealed that the couple gave up their business class seats for the pacers for the trip from Adelaide to Perth in order to give the bowlers the much-needed rest.
On Monday, India beat Australia by 31 runs to take the lead in the four-match series. The second Test will get underway on December 14. And with just a few days gap between the two games, Kohli made sure that his bowlers get the proper rest. Consequently, he and his wife sacrificed the comfort of business class seats for the hard-working pacers.
Witnessed @imVkohli & his wife give up their Business class seats to allow the Quicks more comfort & space on the trip from Adelaide – Perth !! Danger Australia .. Not only are the quicks more relaxed .. The Skipper is managing his troops with great human touches #AUSvIND

But while the fans and the cricketing fraternity have been lavishing praise on Kohli for his gesture, England all-rounder Ben Stokes seems to have been confused by it. And unable to deal with it, he took to Twitter to reveal that England head coach Trevor Bayliss had done the same during the 2016 tour of India without revealing much details.
“Trevor Bayliss did that for once..,” he tweeted while tagging Ben Duckett.

Not surprisingly, his tweet did not go down well the fans as they gave him a piece of their mind. But before the fans could target him more, the allrounder posted another tweet, insisting that he respects Kohli’s gesture and just wanted to state that Bayliss did it before the India skipper.
“Bit of confusion with my last tweet I think, being a bowler I have great respect for Virat doing what he did,I was simply saying our head coach did it for one of our players when we toured India in 2016,” wrote Stokes.

Stokes available for selection
Meanwhile, Stokes would have heaved a sigh of relief after the Cricket Discipline Commission did not impose further suspension on him for his part in the brawl outside a Bristol bar last September. He along with his teammate Alex Hales has been fined for the incidents but are available for selection. Stokes was handed a backdated 8-match ban which he has already served while Hales has been slapped with a 6-match ban.
