I should have got married to Virat Kohli: Shah Rukh Khan

Journalists, this community can be really funny at times. The questions especially Bollywood journos come up with while interacting with stars in a press conference are hilarious to the core. One prime example was a female reporter telling Anushka Sharma that she set the trend for weddings, it was just a part of her question but that’s what dominated the rest of the discussion. Anushka along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are promoting their movie Zero. Her question was so funny to SRK that he just couldn’t resist roasting her.

The point she was trying to make with the question was that since Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in December last year a host of other celebrities have or are set to tie the knot. The likes of Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone will get married in December this year. Priyanka Chopra also got engaged with Nick Jonas and there are speculations about their marriage as well. The Badshah of Bollywood who celebrated his 53rd birthday yesterday was surprised and he responded saying that marriage has been around for a really long time and it wasn’t Anushka who initiated the trend.

Katrina took it over from him and tried to explain the journalist’s point of view with her question, she mentioned that when she saw the photos from Anushka’s wedding it was so beautiful, her look and the whole setup that even she wanted to get married.

“There was so much beauty in that one picture, everyone was looking at it and were reminded of love,” Katrina said. Mrs Kohli was really touched by that gesture from her colleague and was quite evident with her reaction.

Shah Rukh wasn’t done yet. The king of sass that he is again bounced back into the conversation and said: “Even I felt that and thought I should’ve got married to Virat Kohli.” Everyone present there couldn’t hold their laughter and just burst out.
