The Indian skipper Virat Kohli recently interacted with some kids on a special episode of Star Sports’ show Cricket Connected. During the show, his teammate, Yuzvendra Chahal made a special appearance. The captain kept on making jokes on his teammate as the 29-year-old was left stumped. The clip was shared by BCCI on Twitter.
During the fun interaction between the two cricketers, the captain tried to pull Chahal’s leg. The Delhi batsman jokingly said that looking at the spinner’s haircut, it seemed his dogs might have got over him and done that.
“Who cut your hair?” Kohli asked Chahal, who replied, “Bhaiyya, my didi and I cut them together.”
“Acha. Mujhe laga tere dogs tere peeche path gaye (I thought your dogs went after you)”, the 31-year-old said during Star Sports show Cricket Connected.
Virat Kohli says he wants to see an Instagram live between Bumrah, Shami, Bhuvi and Ishant
The Indian captain further pulled the Haryana spinner’s leg again, by calling him the ultimate ‘joker’. Talking about the recent Instagram live session of his teammates, Kohli said that he was surprised to see Jasprit Bumrah talking so openly. According to the batsman, the pacer communicates well one on one but doesn’t open up easily in public. He also said that he would be interested in seeing an Instagram live session between four of his fast-bowlers.
“Yuzi is the biggest joker definitely, Jasprit has been a big revelation. I didn’t know he would publicly talk in such detail. One-on-one he talks in detail but I didn’t think he would open up so much in front of the world. So that’s good to see. I would also like to see a live video call between Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Umesh Yadav. I want to see what these four would talk about in life,” Kohli said.
The RCB captain also revealed that he tried learning guitar during this lockdown, but couldn’t succeed. “I tried to play the guitar a few times but it was small in size. I think I have a guitar which is of your size at home,” Kohli said to Chahal.
The leggie said that he has learned a new thing and that is doing early morning exercises. “I’ve also learned a new thing. Nowadays I work out at 6.30 in the morning,” he said.
