Ahmed was seen smiling and also covered his face with his hand after he knocked out all-rounder DJ Bravo on the latter’s very first ball of IPL 2020. Bravo got the chance to show up with a bat for the first time against SRH in the last match but had to go on a golden duck.

He was also slammed by social media users as his actions felt like he is trying to disrespect DJ Bravo. However, in the latest turn of events, he has come with a statement on his Twitter handle and made clear that he was not laughing at Bravo. He came up with a polite statement to say that he has huge respect for the Caribbean star and he is like his elder brother. He wrote, “I wasn’t laughing on DJ Bravo, there was some other reason, he is a true legend, he is a big brother to me #CSKvsSRH.”

Talking about the same match, Khaleel acquired figures of 2/45 in his span of four overs. Ravindra Jadeja was named as the player of the match for his all-round contribution for the men in yellow.
