The last few months have been a little difficult for everyone in India. Amidst the global pandemic, the citizens of the country have struggled a lot for the past couple of months. During this period, something which has increased is the engagement of the Indian citizens. It is not about limited to regular people but even celebrities have been seen using social media actively.

On Monday, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh shared a hilarious image on his official Instagram handle. Recently, we have come across a very funny gender-swapping app. With the help of this, you can swap a guy’s face to make him look like a girl. This thing has found a profound likeliness among Indian people.

Yuvraj Singh uploaded the collage asking ‘Who will you select as your girlfriend?’

Yuvraj uploaded an image where the entire Indian cricket team was present. The image included female versions of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravichandran Ashwin, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Ajinkya Rahane, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammad Shami, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, and Jasprit Bumrah.

Yuvraj, who has been known to be a dressing room prankster during his playing days, took this great opportunity to troll all his former Indian teammates. As a caption, he wrote, “Who will you select as your girlfriend? I will reply tomorrow.”

After the image was uploaded by Yuvraj, it received hilarious responses from cricketers and Bollywood celebrities.

The trend of using this gender-swapping app also become popular after Yuzvendra Chahal pulled off something similar. However, the Indian spinner had tried to pull the leg of the limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma. He recently uploaded a similar sort of image of Sharma a few days back from his official Twitter handle. It is after Chahal, that it became more popular. In fact, Yuvraj might have got the idea of using it on his former teammates after seeing Chahal’s post.

During this lockdown period, the engagement of people on social media has increased significantly. Many cricketers have interacted with their fans through Q&A sessions on social media. Others have also engaged with fellow cricketers on Instagram live, giving insights about the game to the fans.
