The stump mic chatter has been one of the highlights of the ongoing Test series between Australia and India. The banter between Tim Paine and Rishabh Pant has been the best with the former asking his Indian wicket-keeping counterpart to babysit his kids during the Melbourne Test. Even Pant gave it back when Paine came out to bat calling him temporary captain. However, all that was on the field as the two players are enjoying their time off the field it seems.
Both the teams were invited to the Australian Prime Minister’s residence on the New Year’s Day as Pant came across Paine kids in reality. The cricketer didn’t waste any time in spending some valuable time with them and also clicked a picture with his wife Bonnie Maggs. Paine’s wife also posted the same in her Instagram story hilariously terming Pant as the babysitter.
The banter has ended in the best way which once again proves that the players didn’t cross the line and they have no grudges towards each other.

ICC also pounces on
Meanwhile, the official Twitter handle of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has been busy trolling the cricketers in their own way in the last few months also spotted this. They recalled the way Paine had asked Pant to extend his Aussie holiday and play for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League. He had also invited the youngster for the dinner and asked to babysit his kids while the Aussie captain goes for the movie with his wife.
“I tell you what, big MS (Dhoni) is back in the One-Day squad, we might get (Pant) down to the Hurricanes, this bloke. We need a batter. Fancy that, surely, extend your little Aussie holiday, Beautiful town, Hobart, too. Get you a nice apartment on the waterfront. Have you over for dinner you Babysit? I’ll take the wife to the movies one night and you’ll look after the kids?” he had said.

I’ll take the wife to the movies one night, you’ll look after the kids?” *Challenge accepted!*” the tweet read.
