ICC tags Indian Captain Virat Kohli as the 'Chase Master' after T20I performance

The image of India’s all format captain, Virat Kohli, seeing his team through in a chase is a matter of routine of monotony. There have numerous instances in International cricket over the period of last 9 years where the Golden Boy of Indian cricket weaved his magic again and sealed the deal for his side even in a monumental run chase which gave him the name of ‘Chase Master’.
After looking at the performance last night against Lanka, ICC rechristened him as the ‘Chase Master’ on its Twitter handle as India clean-sweeps the tour by winning the one-off T20I match. In the tour of Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli filled in his boots by bringing up 3 centuries and two half centuries across all formats. He signed off the tour with yet another trademark innings of 82 off just 57 balls, striking the ball at 151. He scored seven fours and a maximum to display his dominance in the shortest format of the game.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain is presently ranked at the top of the ranking table for batsmen in T20Is and ODIs. He also equalled Sachin Tendulkar’s record for highest number of rating points by an Indian with 887 points. Kohli is also the leading run scorer currently in the calendar year of 2017.
With his century in the 5th ODI of the series, he is now the quickest to bring up 30 ODI tons in 186 innings only, breaking the record of Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting.
