1. Ravindra Jadeja – 41 runs
Ravindra Jadeja is arguably the best fielder of World Cricket, at the moment. The lad has recently displayed some breath-taking efforts in the field and possesses the ability of winning games for his team just by his fielding. He is one of India’s all-time greats when it comes to fielding, and is on par with some other legendary figures like Mohammed Azharuddin, Mohammed Kaif & Yuvraj Singh.
The Cricket World Cup 2019 was also no different for the Rajkot-born cricketer. Jadeja saved a total of 41 runs with his unbelievable fielding efforts and became the second-best fielder of the tourney. He saved a total of 24 runs while fielding outside the 30-yard circle, whilst the rest of the runs (17) were saved when he was given the charge of the inner ring. Even though he could be a part of the playing XI in just 2 games, the 30-year old was present on the field, as a substitute fielder, on most of the occasions.
Apart from fielding, Jadeja had a wonderful campaign with bat & ball too. The Southpaw struck two invaluable wickets in the 2 games he played and played a once-in-a-lifetime knock of 77 runs in the semi-finals of the tournament.
