David Miller has been a part of the Kings XI Punjab franchise for a long time in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has even captained the team in the tournament and has seen the highest success in form of a finals’ appearance in IPL 2014. In IPL 2019, Kings XI Punjab is ranked at number 5 in the points table with 5 wins and 5 losses in 10 games and 10 points. They are next scheduled to face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
RCB has been on a roll with two wins in two including an amazing 1-run win over defending champions Chennai Super Kings at their home. David Miller, nicknamed ‘Killer Miller’, is a part of South Africa’s 15-man ICC World Cup 2019 squad and feels that KXIP will be able to make it into the playoffs of the ongoing tournament.
Kagiso Rabada will be a match winner for South Africa
Kagiso Rabada, who is playing for Delhi Capitals in the ongoing IPL, is currently the highest wicket-taker in the tournament and is the Purple Cap holder for now. This bodes well for the South Africa team as they prepare for the mega event following the T20 league.
“He is a young and talented bowler. He has been amazing in the IPL. I am really happy with the way he is bowling. He is young and will go a long way. I am sure he will do well in the World Cup,” Miller was quoted as saying by the Times of India.
Rabada has been one of the best bowlers in world cricket since his debut in 2015. In 37 Tests, he has picked 176 wickets and in 66 ODIs, he has 106 wickets to his name. He is also the only bowler in ODI history to pick a five-wicket haul on debut and take a hat-trick in the same match, picking a record haul of 6/16 against Bangladesh.
