Windies and Australia will face off in an International game for the first time in nearly three years as they last met in the 2016 Tri-Series in the Caribbean Islands. Both the teams began their World Cup 2019 with big wins over Pakistan and Afghanistan respectively. Chris Gayle’s ODI form in 2019 has turned out to be an asset for the Windies who drew their ODI series against England earlier this year. David Warner’s knock in the previous game was much needed one for the Aussies going into crucial games.
