India and Bangladesh will lock horns in Birmingham as they meet in an International game for the first time since the Asia Cup final last year which went down to the wire. India recorded five consecutive wins in this tournament before losing to England at the same venue. This game is quite important for Bangladesh as they need to win this to stay alive in the competition. Shakib Al Hasan has been their lieutenant in the tournament as the all-rounder emerged as the Player of the match in all three Bangladesh wins.
Here we bring to you the Dream11 Fantasy team based on the stats of the players:
WicketKeepers:
The Bangladesh keepers Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das will take the field against India with a good amount of runs in the bank. The experienced Mushfiqur scored 249 runs with a century and a fifty in last five innings. Liton forced the management to get him back on top, to open the innings with consistent performances. He scored an unbeaten 94 against Windies during their record chase.
Batsmen:
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be direct choices having been in great form with the bat. Skipper Kohli has scored a fifty in each of the previous five matches to become the 2nd player in the history of World Cup with five successive 50+ scores. Rohit has scored two centuries in previous five innings and overall three in this tournament.
He is the only player to score three tons in 2019 CWC. The 3rd player among the batsmen is Kedar Jadhav due to lack of credits. Jadhav is likely to feature in the XI after Vijay Shankar’s injury. He did score a fifty when he got to bat early against Afghanistan.
All-rounders:
Shakib Al Hasan is in the form of his life as he has scored 401 runs in his last five ODI innings which is more than that of what Kohli and Rohit have managed in their previous five outings. Hardik Pandya has been decent with both bat and ball in this tournament so far. Mosaddek Hossain also can be picked as he costs only 8 credits. The likes of Mushfiqur, Shakib, Kohli and Rohit collectively cost 42 credits.
Bowlers:
Mohammed Shami is on a roll in the ongoing World Cup as he bagged 4-wicket hauls in all three matches he played. Thus he became only the 2nd Indian with three straight 4-fers and the 2nd player in the World Cup to achieve this feat after Shahid Afridi who did so in 2011.
Shami has 16 wickets in his last five matches while Bangladesh seamer Mohammad Saifuddin picked up 10. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is the 3rd pick from this category as he is the only bowler with 8 credits and can make it to the playing XI.
