If I get an offer, I will consider it: Shahid Afridi on his international return for World XI
Afridi last featured as an international player for Pakistan two years back in the World T20 against Australia.
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi apart from being known for his all-round skills had a very interesting career. He announced, accepted retirement from international cricket and came back out of it thrice. Afridi finally called it time on his international career after the World T20 2016. However, he recently has made an interesting announcement.
While talking to an Indian website Afridi showed a keen interest in playing an international match. He is willing to be a part of the World XI side which will play a fundraiser T20 game at Lord’s. The International Cricket Council (ICC) had earlier announced that on 31st May, the West Indies and Rest of the World XI will play a fundraising T20 game.
The fund collected through the match will be used towards repairing the parts of the Caribbean which were destroyed by Hurricanes Irma and Maria last year in September. The ICC had granted the match an international status which meant that if the Pakistan veteran plays the game, it will be his return to international cricket.

If I get an offer, I will consider it: Afridi
According to Wisden India, the all-rounder told them that he doesn’t have the details of the match but if he gets an opportunity, he will surely consider it.
In PCB’s T20 league Pakistan Super Leauge (PSL), Afridi is set to represent Karachi Kings in season 3. Earlier, he was part of Peshawar Zalmi side for the first couple of editions. He was recently seen playing a game on ice in Switzerland where a number of former players got together to play a 2-game series. Afridi’s side the Royals won both the games against Virender Sehwag led Diamonds.
Afridi made his international debut at the age of 16 and was known for his ability to hit massive sixes. He held the record of fastest hundred in ODI cricket for a long time having scored it against arch-rivals India.
