Imad Wasim's live video goes wrong, Shahid Afridi trolls him big time

Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim has found no respite in his personal life in the recent times. He had been trolled mercilessly by many for his alleged affair with an Afghanistani girl. And now, Imad’s former teammate and legendary Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has taken a subtle dig at him. A video where Imad Wasim and Shahid Afridi are seen sharing a lighter moment has surfaced the media.

In the video, Shahid Afridi has trolled Imad with just a one liner. Commenting about the video, the video sees Imad recording a live session. He looks in a very jovial mood at a public event. Soon, he spots Shahid Afridi in his vicinity and calls him. He tells him that the video is live. Shahid Afridi, mincing no words, questions Imad back asking, “Afghan jalebi, kaise ho?”

Well, this comes in the direct reference of Imad’s alleged affair that had surfaced the media last year. Pictures of Imad and an Afghanistani girl had gone viral on the social media. Soon, the girl started claiming that the Pakistani cricketer had promised to marry her but ended up abandoning her after a fling.

Imad, in his defense, kept mum initially. But soon, he stood firm in his case stating that the claims made by the girl are fake. Also, the pictures that have gone viral are with a fan girl that he had taken. Well, whatever the truth may be, from the video it is apparent that the Pakistani dressing room is certainly making a lot of jokes out of the entire episode.

Not for the first time

Interestingly, this is not the first time when Imad has been trolled by a big name on this issue. Prior to Shahid Afridi, former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja had also taken a subtle dig on Imad. During the Pakistan’s home series against Sri Lanka year, Ramiz Raja was heard singing the song ‘Afghan Jalebi’ on air after Imad was dismissed in one of the ODI fixtures. Ramiz had started singing the song the moment Imad was dismissed, without realising that his microphone was on. He soon switched off his mic after realising that he was on air.
