Imam-ul-Haq tumbles over a chair and falls down; teammates couldn't control their laughter
Imam didn't play any of the three Tests.
Imam-ul-Haq is currently a part of the Pakistan Test squad for the tour of England. The left-hander has a sound technique and has tasted quite a bit of success in ODI cricket, averaging over 50. He also a century at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in the match against Bangladesh in the 2019 edition of the World Cup. However, his Test career is yet to take off after he made his debut back in 2018.
In England, he didn’t get to play a single match and had to warm the bench throughout. The tour could have turned out to be further dreadful after he survived an accident. He tumbled over a chair and fell on the ground. It could easy have caused him an injury. The Pakistan cricketers had a good laugh about it. Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shan Masood were present when the incident took place.

In his career, Imam has played 11 Tests, scoring 485 runs at an average of 25.52 with the help of three half-centuries. In ODI cricket though, he has done reasonably well. In 37 ODIs, he has scored 1,723 runs at an average of 53.84 with the help of seven centuries and six half-centuries. He has also played a couple of T20Is after he made his debut last year against England.
As far as Pakistan’s ongoing Test series is concerned, the hosts have strained to a large extent. They had a chance of winning the opening Test at the Old Trafford in Manchester. However, after getting five wickets in the fourth innings, Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes robbed them off a victory. Azhar Ali, the Pakistan skipper also came under fire for his poor run with the bat in hand.
The second Test at the Rose Bowl in Southampton was marred by rain. In the third Test at the same venue, the visiting team has had their travails as well. In the first four days, the Brits dominated them and Pakistan are trying to save the match. Nevertheless, captain Azhar scored a magnificent ton to find his rhythm. It remains to be seen how Pakistan perform on the last day.
