Imran Tahir gives some valuable tips to Shadab Khan after the 3rd T20 match

The successful completion of the ICC World XI’s tours of Pakistan marked a historic moment in the country’s cricket history. The three-match T20 series passed with flying colors as it put an end to the 8-year long international drought Pakistan had been suffering. Heavyweights from all over the cricketing world step into the country again giving the fans the much-awaited treat they wanted.

All the three matches were thoroughly entertaining and the Gaddafi Stadium boasted of an electric atmosphere with a full house in it. Pakistan made the Independence Cup memorable by winning the series 2-1 much to the delight of the fans. Lahore-born South Africa International, Imran Tahir was very much a part of the visiting World XI side and had a series to remember. The world-class leg-spinner had no hesitation in touring Pakistan and had mentioned that he is a frequent visitor to the country where he still has an old house.

The main story:

After the final T20 match between the two teams was put to rest, Imran Tahir took out time to give some bowling tips to young Pakistani bowler Shadab Khan. Tahir showed the 18-year-old how to bowl a particular delivery and Shadab was all ears to him.

Sami Ul Hasan, ICC’s Head of Media and Communications, shared the video on popular social media platform, Twitter. He paired the tweet with the caption “Imran Tahir sharing knowledge and experience with Shadab Khan.”

Imran Tahir’s wonderful gesture was appreciated by fans all over Twitter as it perfectly portrayed the purpose of organizing the World XI tour. While some fans lauded him for having a heart of gold, the other mentioned that this is exactly what Pakistan were lacking.

It is believed that Sri Lankan and West Indies teams are also scheduled to tour the country of Pakistan for brief tournaments after the World XI tour.
