3. Naman Ojha
Naman Ojha is the most unlikely to be picked as he is not a long-term option as well with the age not on his side. He last played for India in his debut Test in 2015 against Sri Lanka at Colombo. Such is the dearth of wicketkeepers in the country that none of the youngsters have put their hands up in the domestic cricket to warrant a long-term place in the team. Ojha had scored 56 runs in two innings and was unfortunate to be dropped after Saha returned for the next series.
Nevertheless, he deserves another chance and is definitely a veteran as far as his domestic record is concerned. He has amassed 9152 runs at an average of 42.56 in 135 matches with a massive 21 centuries and 52 half-centuries. While Parthiv and Karthik remain the priorities to make it to the national side, the possibility of the selectors pulling a rabbit out of the hat cannot be ruled out.
