India 'A' led by Karun Nair all set to be a stiff opponent for New Zealand 'A'

New Zealand ‘A’ is all set to have their task cut out for them in the upcoming 2-Test Series, as India ‘A’ will look to dominate from the get-go. While Karun Nair will be marshalling the India ‘A’ troops, Henry Nicholls will be heading the Kiwi side. The series is going to take place at the ACA Cricket Ground at Mulapadu, near Vijayawada.
Each of the two Test matches is going to be a four-day long affair. With a sporting wicket promised at the lush green ground of the Mulapadu Cricket Complex, the series is set to be an exciting one. It will also provide a platform for various talented players to gain the spotlight and be recognised for the national level.
India ‘A’ set to give tough competition to New Zealand ‘A’
Karun Nair expressed high hopes from his teammates and stressed that every member of his team is aware of the huge opportunity and is looking to utilise it to the fullest with brilliant performances. He further said, “We have the right balance and the skills to do well in these two Tests.”
On the other hand, New Zealand ‘A’ skipper, Henry Nicholls said, “It should be a great experience for most of us. We are ready for the challenges. The conditions will be tough for sure.” The Kiwis will fancy their chances as they’re flanked by two of its most prominent cricketers, Shane Bond and Gavin Larsen. Both these players are equipped with sound knowledge of Indian conditions. “Yes, I think I should be able to chip in a little about the conditions here,” said Bond, while stressing that adaptability is the key to success in the sub-continent.
