India A seals the series with a huge victory against Bangladesh A: India A clinched the 3-match One Day series against Bangladesh A by 2-1 which was hosted by Bangalore after they defeated the visiting side by 75 runs according to Duckworth Lewis method.

India A lost an early wicket of in-form batsman Mayank Agarwal after electing to bat first. Sanju Samson was promoted to No.3, who along with Captain Unmukt Chand stabilized the innings. The both put on a stand of 82 for the 2nd wicket in 17.3 overs, before Chand was cleaned up by Arafat Sunny for 41. Suresh Raina, whose form has been a worry since the Cricket World Cup in March, looked in great touch at the crease.

Along with Samson, he kept put on century stand which scoring at almost run a ball. Sanju Samson fell 10 runs short of what could have been his maiden century in List A format. However, it was his highest score in this form of the game. He shared a stand of 116 with Raina for 4th wicket in 115 deliveries. Sanju’s innings off 90 came in 99 balls with 10 fours and a six.

Despite of losing another 2 wickets in no time, Raina continued to strike big on other end yielding almost 9 an over. Raina brought up his century in 91 balls however he got out couple of balls later after adding 4 more runs to his tally. With help of a quick fire 26 from Rishi Dhawan, India A finished on 297 for 6 in 50 overs.

Sreenath Arvind and Dhawal Kulkarni gave best of starts for India A as they both picked up 3 early wickets with Bangladesh A’s score at just 24. Bangladesh A needed 290 to win in 46 overs according to Duckworth Lewis method after rain interrupted the game. Captain Mominul Haque tried to rescue his side but Kuldeep Yadav got him for 37. Sabbir Rahman (41) and Nasir Hossain built a 48 run stand before Karn Sharma cleaned up Karn Sharma. Rain yet again halted the game with Bangladesh at 141 for 6 in 32 overs.

With no more play possible, according to Duckworth Lewis, India A were adjudged as winner by 75 run margin. For his century, Suresh Raina was awarded Man of the match.
