India all-rounder Jayant Yadav has tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Disha Chawla. Yadav has completely fallen out of favour with the national selectors and last played for India way back in February 2017. Four months before that, he had made his debut in international cricket during the Vizag ODI against New Zealand.
He has not played any ODI since then. Few days after the ODI debut, he made his debut in Tests when India hosted England for a five-Test series. The Haryana all-rounder impressed straight away by making notable contributions with both bat and ball. In his debut Test, he scored 62 runs in addition to picking up 4 wickets.
It was followed by his maiden fifty and four wickets in the following game. In his third Test, Yadav became the first Indian batsman to score a Test century at No.9. In February, he played one more Test which was against Australia before being dropped. The 31-year old has not played for India since then and is unlikely to get a chance in the coming days.
Away from the cricket action, Yadav is all set to start a new innings in his life with his partner Disha. The news of his wedding was revealed by his Haryana teammate and India spin star Yuzvendra Chahal. The leg-spinner took to Twitter to congratulate the couple. He also posted a picture of the newlyweds while writing, “Congratulations Jayant & Disha”

Yadav was last seen in action in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Haryana where he played six matches. He picked up seven wickets in the tournament. Prior to that, he had played two games in the IPL while plying his trade for champions Mumbai Indians.
Chahal to return to action soon
As far as Yuzvendra Chahal is concerned, he is set to return to action in the upcoming limited-overs series against England. India are set to take on England in five T20Is and three ODIs. Both the teams are currently involved in a four-match Test series. The series is currently locked at 1-1 after India won the second Test by 317 runs on Tuesday.
