The last couple of years have seen quite a big number of cricketers getting married and start a new inning in their lives. Towards the end of 2017, Indian skipper Virat Kohli had tied the knots with his longtime girlfriend Anushka Sharma. Krunal Pandya, Sanju Samson, Mayank Agarwal soon followed by getting married in 2018. In fact, 2018 saw quite a number of big names from outside India get married too with the likes of Aaron Finch, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan and Steve Smith leading the list.
The latest cricketer to join the list is none other than India fast bowler Siddharth Kaul. The right-arm pacer pledged troth with Harsimran Kaur on Friday, March 8, 2019. Kaul recently returned to India’s ODI team for the ongoing series against Australia. He, however, was a part of the team for the first two games only before being replaced by the incumbent Bhuvneshwar Kumar for the remainder of the series. Kaul did not get any game, warming the bench for the first two matches before being released.
And with a busy season ahead, Kaul made the most of the break. The Punjab-star will be next seen in action in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League where he will ply his trade for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. After two impressive seasons with the franchise, Kaul is once again set to spearhead the attack alongside Bhuvneshwar.
The wedding bells have rung for @sidkaul22 and Harsimran Kaur! 😍

Kaul in line for World Cup:
Kaul, meanwhile, has joined the race to be India’s fourth pacer for the upcoming ICC World Cup. With Khaleel Ahmed performing poorly in New Zealand and Australia and Umesh Yadav showing little signs of improvement in white-ball cricket, the selectors hinted that Kaul is in the frame to accompany Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar and Mohammed Shami in England by naming him in the ODI squad for the Australia series which is India’s last assignment before the showpiece event.
