He has been a good T20 bowler over the past years and has been an important member of all the franchises he has played for in the IPL.</p>
<p>His experience will be vital for India’s chances in the 2nd T20I and he will surely want to repay the faith showed in him by the selectors and the captain.</p>

<p>After winning the Test and the ODI series with utmost comfort, Team India have started off their T20I campaign on a losing note and they will surely try to rectify their mistakes ahead of the 2nd T20I in Nagpur on Sunday. The batting line-up didn’t click as a unit and the newcomers in the team failed to make their opportunity count. The hosts kept losing wickets at regular intervals which prevented them from going beyond 150 especially on a pitch which was a batting paradise.</p>
<p>The England batsmen flourished with both openers striking the ball with disdain in the first three overs. Later on, it was captain Eoin Morgan and Joe Root who ensured that the visitors reached the moderate target without further hiccups. Ahead of the much win contest in Nagpur, Virat Kohli will be a worried man as India has lost both their last two matches. He will surely try to change the team combination and bring in some new faces who might prove vital for the team’s chances on Sunday.</p>

<h4><strong>KL Rahul</strong></h4>

<p>Rahul hasn’t been in the greatest of forms but given his reputation in all three formats of the game, it is highly unlikely that he will be asked to sit out. The right-hander had a horrendous outing in the ODI series and followed it up with another low score in the 1st T20I in Kanpur. He was in tremendous form in the longest format scoring a brilliant 199 in the final Test in Chennai.</p>
<p>The Karnataka lad knows to play the big shots and it was quite evident from the mind-boggling innings he played against the mighty Carribeans in the USA earlier in 2016. He hasn’t realised his potential in the last four matches but with the range of shots, he poses a big knock is just round the corner. He will surely look to rectify his mistakes and come back stronger in the remainder of the series</p>
<h4><strong>Rishabh Pant</strong></h4>

<p>Newcomer Rishabh Pant is expected to have a look in. The teenaged southpaw has been in tremendous form in the domestic circuit and has scored heaps of runs in the T20 format. He can play all around the wicket and has all the big shots at his disposal. Pant was also the highest run scorer for India in the U-19 World Cup in Bangladesh.</p>
<p>He smashed a record-breaking century against Nepal and followed it up with another century against Namibia to help India qualify for the Semifinals. His century came on the same day when he was bought by the Delhi Daredevils for a whopping 1.8 crore from a base price of 10 lakhs. He again made the headlines in the Ranji Trophy where he smashed a triple century against Maharashtra and followed it up with a 48 ball century against Jharkhand.</p>
<p>Given his reputation of playing the big shots, he is expected to picked in the Playing XI for the 2nd T20I.</p>
<h4><strong>Virat Kohli</strong></h4>

<p>Captain Kohli is going through a purple patch in his career scoring runs at will against every opposition irrespective of conditions. He got off to a very good start in the opening match at Kanpur before giving his wicket away to Moeen Ali while attempting a slog sweep.</p>
<p>The modern day master struck a brilliant century in the 1st ODI at Pune which helped India chase down a mammoth total set by England after tottering at 63/4 at one stage. The way he leads by example also shrugs off the confidence in other players. He is always ready to put that extra yard to enhance his fitness. More than his batting he will be worried of the team combination ahead of the must-win encounter</p>
<h4><strong>Yuvraj Singh</strong></h4>

<p>The southpaw made a terrific comeback in the ODI series and looked in sublime form in all three matches. While he was unlucky in the 1st match after playing a few gorgeous shots, he made his opportunity count in the 2nd encounter and went on to notch up his highest ODI score. The way he struck everything with authority it reminded us of the old Yuvraj.</p>
<p>He will surely look to replicate his performance from the ODI series in the upcoming two T20Is if India hopes of making a comeback in the 3 match series.</p>
<h4><strong>MS Dhoni</strong></h4>

<p>The former captain roared back to form in the ODI series where he scored a brilliant century alongside Yuvraj Singh and laid the foundation for a series victory for the Men In Blue. He scored 27 balls 36 in the 1st T20I but was unable to unleash the big shots with which we associate him the most. Despite his drawbacks, he continues to be the biggest match-winner for India.</p>
<p>Kohli has mentioned before the start of the limited-overs leg that he would like Dhoni to bat up the order and he has maintained his stance. Though MS Dhoni might not be the same old Dhoni 3 years back but he is still a force to reckon with and adds value to the inexperienced middle order.</p>
<h4><strong>Suresh Raina</strong></h4>

<p>Raina made a very good comeback to the national team after being in oblivion since the World Twenty20 in India earlier in 2016. The southpaw looked in full flow during his innings of 34 of 22 balls in the 1st T20I which included four hits to the fence and a solitary six. He is expected to go down the order if Rishabh Pant is given a chance.</p>
<p>Despite his indifferent form of late, Raina remains an important member of the limited-overs team, especially in the T20 format.</p>
<h4><strong>Hardik Pandya</strong></h4>

<p>The all-rounder has been an asset to the limited overs team ever since making his debut. He adds the balance in the team allowing the captain to play an extra batsman or a bowler depending upon the conditions. The only drawback in his approach is his temperament which he needs to work on. After scoring a brilliant half century in the final ODI at the Eden Gardens, he couldn’t take his team beyond the finishing line, playing a reckless shot during a crucial juncture of the game.</p>
<p>He has been inconsistent with the ball in hand but has provided the team with important breakthroughs in crucial junctures of the game which keeps him in good stead.</p>
<h4><strong>Yuzvendra Chahal</strong></h4>

<p>The leg-spinner bowled with heart in the 1st T20I and bagged two wickets in a match where his other colleagues couldn’t leave up to their reputation. After the English openers got off to a breezy start, Chahal put the brakes on the visitor&#8217;s charge by dismissing openers Jason Roy and Sam Billings in his very first over. Though he went for a couple of sixes but he will be pretty happy with his performance.</p>
<p>He has been an important member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL and given Kohli is also the captain of that franchise, it might work in his favour.</p>
<h4><strong>Amit Mishra</strong></h4>

<p>The experienced leg-spinner hasn’t been consistent enough in the international circuit which has prevented him from becoming a regular member of the limited-overs side. Mishra was brilliant in the ODI series against New Zealand and bagged 15 wickets in the 5 match series. He bagged a five-wicket haul in the final match which was instrumental in India winning the series 3-2.</p>
<p>After a poor show by Parvez Rassol in the 1st encounter, Kohli will be tempted to have the more experienced guy for the must-win encounter.</p>
<h4><strong>Jasprit Bumrah</strong></h4>

<p>Bumrah has gone for plenty in the limited overs series so far but given his ability to bowl the Yorkers on a consistent basis he remains one of the most important bowlers for the limited overs set-up. He has bowled some crucial no-balls which have cost his team dearly in the series. He has got wickets on no-balls and free hits which haven&#8217;t helped his team’s cause.</p>
<p>Bumrah was the leading wicket taker in the T20I format in 2016 where he finished with 28 wickets from 21 matches. The man with a unique action will surely want to rectify his mistakes in the must-win encounter and come out with flying colours.</p>
