3. Ish Sodhi:
Ish Sodhi, Mitchell Santner’s spin bowling partner, was also one of the key men on whom everybody has their eyes on. Unfortunately, he also failed to create an impact and was not required after the first Test at Kanpur.
The leg-spinner was able to register figures for only 1/50 and 2/99 in the only test he was given an opportunity which his team lost an innings margin.
However, as mentioned earlier for Santner, Sodhi cannot be written off that easily. He has been effective bowling in tandem with Santner. And, if the pair is given a chance together, both can be game changers without any doubt.
