The ongoing Nagpur ODI is currently interestingly poised at the moment with Australia managing to skittle India out for 250 runs. Virat Kohli slammed his 40th majestic century and the focus was now on the second innings and how the hosts defend the score. The team ended up with their huddle as the Men in Blue strode out to the middle to start the second innings only to witness a hilarious incident with MS Dhoni at the centre stage.
One of the fans broke through the security and ran on the ground to meet the heartthrob of the nation and the former captain of India. As soon as the fan got close to Dhoni, the veteran played hide and seek with him trying to run away and also hid himself behind Rohit Sharma. Soon after he started run away towards the pitch to have some fun as there was a hilarious smile on Dhoni’s face.
However, the die-hard fan finally managed to get hold of his idol MS Dhoni near the stumps and hugged him with all the might. Though it was unexpected, it was some fun out in the middle for the Indian team and the crowd. Such scenes with MS Dhoni nearing the end of his career have become common these days and one won’t be surprised if something of such sorts happens again during the series.

Not a good day with the bat
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni had a rare off day with the bat in the ongoing second ODI against Australia. He bagged a golden duck and was snaffled by Adam Zampa. Coming into this game, Dhoni had four half-centuries in as many innings against the Men in Yellow and the stage was perfectly set for him to smash one more.
But it wasn’t to be for the veteran and he would now be looking to make amends with his dynamic wicket-keeping skills in the second innings. With the pitch turning square, Dhoni’s inputs will be crucial as India look to defend a middling total.
