Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson is making his return to the Indian team after a gap of 4 years. The wicket-keeper batsman had gained the selectors’ attention with his consistent performances in the domestic circuit. Recently, Samson had struck a double century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well.
Since the team’s first choice keeper, Rishabh Pant has failed to live up to promises in the last few matches, the Indian team management will be keen to try out Sanju as their new keeper. The fans believe that the Kerala-based right-handed batsman has more temperament than Pant and also his keeping skills are better than his competitor.
If Rohit Sharma includes him in the playing XI, the Rajasthan Royals star would look to seal his place in the side by producing some match-winning performances.
