Openers Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das struck their respective half-centuries while veterans Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah scored 38 and 46 runs respectively. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Ravindra Jadeja all picked up two scalps each as the Tigers got restricted at 256/8 in their allotted 50 overs.
India openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma amassed 53 and 48 runs respectively while Kohli remained unbeaten on 103 to guide his team to a comfortable and convincing victory. The home side now faces the other in-form side in the competition, New Zealand on Sunday, October 22nd in Dharamsala.
