5 – The stylish batsman hit the very first ball of his innings for a six, and became the fifth player to do so on the first ball of the International career. This is only among Test-playing nations and matches played since 2002.
8 – Among full-member nations, Suryakumar Yadav is the eighth player and first Indian to hit the first ball of their T20I career for a six.

1 – Rohit Sharma hit the very first ball of the innings for a six, and became the first Indian to do so in T20Is.
50 – Rohit also completed his 50 sixes at home in T20Is, and became the first Indian player to reach the landmark.
