India star Rohit Sharma is being targeted by the trolls for his weight for quite some time now. Every now and then, one has seen the trolls body-shaming the India star on social media platforms despite his extraordinary exploits on the cricket field. And it looks like the right-handed batsman might face some more trolling in the coming days after he was caught eating while being on the bench during the second T20I between India and England.
Rohit was rested for the first two T20Is of the five-match series. In his absence, India struggled in the first T20I as the top-order failed to deliver. The Men in Blue could manage only 124 runs before England chased it down with ease to register an 8-wicket win. India, however, bounced back in the second T20I on Sunday and won it to draw level in the series.
And while his teammates were busy on the field in the second game, Rohit was watching all the action from the bench. With nothing much to do on the bench, Rohit decided to have some food and the cameras caught him doing that. Rohit managed to hide the food item he was eating by taking it behind one of the support staff members but the chewing made things pretty clear.

India level series
Talking about the second game, India came up with a fine all-round performance to thrash England by seven wickets. Asked to bat first, England scored 164 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs. Opener Jason Roy once again top-scored for the visitors, scoring 46 while the likes of Dawid Malan (24), Eoin Morgan (28), and Ben Stokes (24) also played handy knocks.
The 165-run target, however, did not turn out to be enough for England as India chased it down with utmost ease. After KL Rahul departed for a duck in the first over, debutant Ishan Kishan scored a blazing fifty to put India on top. He scored 56 off just 32 balls and shared a 94-run stand with captain Virat Kohli to lay the foundation for an easy chase. Kohli then went on to score an unbeaten fifty to take the team home in the 18th over. The right-handed batsman remained unbeaten on 73.
