India (IND) and Sri Lanka (SL) will clash in the 33rd match of the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023 on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
India are on a high after their massive 100-run victory over England in their previous match. Rohit Sharma led the way with the bat, scoring 87, while Suryakumar Yadav (49) and KL Rahul (39) also made valuable contributions. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, come into the match after suffering a disappointing defeat to Afghanistan in their previous match. The Lions batted first and posted a total of 241, thanks to contributions from Pathum Nissanka (46), Kusal Mendis (39), and Sadeera Samarawickrama (36). However, Sri Lanka's bowlers were unable to defend their total, with Afghanistan chasing it down with seven wickets in hand.India looks to continue its winning streak, while Sri Lanka will be desperate to bounce back from their defeat to Afghanistan and put up a good fight against them
