The three-match T20I series between India and Windies didn’t kick-off on the expected lines as both the teams struggled to time the ball. This could be repeated in the second game in Ekana Stadium’s International debut which is expected to be a low-scoring game. The Windies showed character in defending but the depth and quality in batting helped India to go 1-0 up chasing a target of 110.

1 – Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow will the 223rd stadium to host an International game and the 52nd in India. This venue will also be the 102nd venue to host a T20I and the 22nd venue in India.
7 – Dinesh Karthik has batted nine times in the T20I format while chasing out of which his team won on seven occasions whenever he remained unbeaten.
Karthik got out in the World T20 2007 game against New Zealand for 17 and bagged a duck in the game for World XI against Windies this year. His teams ended up on the losing side on both instances.

198 – Number of dismissals Dinesh Karthik has affected in his Twenty20 career as a wicketkeeper. He needs two more dismissals to become the 4th keeper with 200 T20 dismissals.
980 – Shikhar Dhawan needs 20 more to complete 1000 runs in T20I cricket. He will be the 6th Indian to reach the milestone whenever he gets there during the series.
1000 – Krunal Pandya needs 12 more runs to reach the four-figure mark having scored 988 runs in 63 T20s. Manish Pandey is also nearing 1000 runs in International cricket with 974 runs under his belt.
2988 – Dinesh Karthik is 12 runs away from completing 3000 runs in International cricket. Karthik has scored 1663 runs in ODIs, 1025 in Test cricket and 300 runs in the T20Is.
