Windies are gearing up for the T20I series against India as they hope to return home with at least one series win from the tour of India. Compared to the Test and ODI series, Windies look much stronger than the Indian team and stand a chance to defeat the hosts. The Caribbean team is filled up with many of their key T20 stars and some talents of the recently concluded CPL. India, on the other hand, will be taking the field in the absence of Virat Kohli but are blessed to have their main bowlers.

62 – Number of sixes Rishabh Pant and Andre Russell hit in the 2018 T20s. These are the joint sixth most number of T20 sixes hit by any player this year. Pant played 26 innings in 2018 while Russell featured in 31 innings.
87.5 – Rohit Sharma’s win percentage as captain in T20s at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Under Rohit’s captaincy, his IPL team Mumbai Indians won seven out eight matches played at this venue losing one in 2015.
89 – Number of sixes Rohit has hit in the T20I format thus far. Only Chris Gayle (103), Martin Guptill (103) and Brendon McCullum (91) have hit more T20I sixes than Rohit.
931 – Runs Shikhar Dhawan has scored in the Twenty20 format in 2018. These are the most T20 runs he scored in a calendar year. Dhawan scored those 931 runs in 28 innings he batted in 2018 with eight fifties. His batting S/R in 2018 reads 141.92 while he never had an S/R over 130 in a T20 calendar year till 2017.
1125 – Rishabh Pant has scored 1125 runs in Twenty20 cricket in 2018 which are the most by any Indian player. He scored those runs in 26 innings at an average of 46.87 with eight fifties at a strike-rate of 177.16.
1217 – Rohit Sharma has scored 1217 runs in 20 innings across all formats at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. He has scored four fifties and four hundreds including two double tons at this venue at an average of 76.06.
Rohit has scored 464 runs alone in the T20 format at this venue in 12 innings with four scores of fifty-plus including his maiden IPL hundred.
2014 – Last time India won a T20I game against Windies was way back during the 2014 WT20 in Dhaka. In these four years, both the teams have faced off on four occasions with the Windies winning on three occasions while another game resulting in wash out.
