23-year-old youngster, Sandeep Sharma has mastered the art of swing bowling. He opened the bowling for Punjab and picked wickets in the very first over in few games. His ability to swing the bowl both ways make him the dangerous bowler in helpful conditions. Sandeep picked his career best 4/20 against Delhi when Punjab bowled them out for 67 only.

Sandeep finished his prolific season with 17 wickets to his name in 13 matches at an average of 23.41. He also bowled some excellent overs at the death, the best being the penultimate over against Mumbai Indians’ Kieron Pollard. The right-arm fast bowler could only get better from here and would be looking forward to the upcoming domestic season.
