2. Virat Kohli – INR 7 crore
Virat Kohli has been an integral part of the Indian team since his debut. He plays all three formats constantly and is a highly dependable player. He was the third-highest run-scorer of the team in all the formats in 2021.
Virat stepped down from his T20I and Test captaincy and was also sacked from the ODI captaincy recently. His batting was also not as his usual best. Even though his performances have seen a dip in recent times, he as a senior player has been retained in the top category. Like Rohit, he will also earn INR 7 crore during this period.
3. Jasprit Bumrah – INR 7 crore
The only bowler to represent the (A+) category is Jasprit Bumrah. His services are needed for the team in all formats without any major breaks. He has been the vital cog of the team and has also has been given the responsibility of vice-captaincy in the Test format. Hence he has been retained in this category once again where he will earn a whopping amount of 7 crore.
