Cricketers' come up with messages on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Al-Adha
From the Indian squad that was playing the Test match in England, Mohammad Shami took out time to wish the fans.
Today, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-al-Adha, Indian cricketers took to Twitter to wish all their fans and supporters, Eid Mubarak. Eid-al-Adha is known as the festival of sacrifice. The festival is celebrated all across the globe and is widely celebrated in Asian countries. It is the second of the two Islamic festivals to be celebrated all over the world, with Eid-al-Fitr being the other.
Cricketers often have to take time out of their busy schedules to celebrate the festival with their families. The Indian cricket team even had to take the field today against England on the fifth day of the 3rd Test in Nottingham. Though it didn’t last really long, they needed just three overs to clean them up and close the match. The victory coming on this occasion comes as a huge relief for most Indian fans.
From the Indian squad that was playing the Test match in England, Mohammad Shami took out time to wish the fans on Twitter. Apart from him, analyst Aakash Chopra wished the enthusiastic followers all in a celebratory mood.
Cricketers like Manoj Tiwary, Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif wished the fans with messages of love, peace and harmony. Tiwary also wished the people of Kerala who have been devastated with floods from the past week and a half. Former cricketers and Indian legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan and VVS Laxman also wished fans and hoped that they get the blessings of the Almighty.
Indian pacer wished all his fans the best, he wrote: “Eid-Ul-Azhaa-Mubarak!! May Allah always lead you towards the path of honesty and prosperity and bless you with the happiness of heaven and above.”
Master Blaster also added to the same and mentioned, “Eid Mubarak to everyone, in India and around the world, celebrating the festival of Eid al-Adha. May the blessings of the almighty always be with you.”
