Indian cricketers send love and wishes for their heroes on Father's Day

As the world is celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday, June 20, Indian cricketers left no stone unturned to come with special gestures for their fathers. From former cricketers to the current ones, everyone has something special to convey to their fathers. While some dedicated their social media posts to their fathers, some celebrated the beautiful feeling of being fathers themselves.

The Indian cricketers came up with special posts to talk about their fathers, their roles in their respective careers, and all the golden moments with them. Indian skipper Virat Kohli posted on how being a father is the most beautiful feeling in the world. In his tweet, he also gave a tribute to his old father.

“Happy father’s day to all the fathers all across the world. Of all the wonderful things that God has blessed me with, being a father is by far the greatest joy and blessing  As I miss my old man this day, I also celebrate our memories together,” tweeted Kohli.

Indian youngster Washington Sundar posted a video where he talked about the role of his father in this sparkling career so far. Women cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy, who recently faced turbulent times in her personal life, came up with a special post for her father.

Talking about cricketers’ relations with father, they have extremely sweet and special. Indian skipper Kohli has many times talked about the great role his father has played in his life. The world knows the story of how he couldn’t be with his father in his final hours of life. Kohli walked up to fulfill his professional assignments post few hours of his father’s demise.

All-rounder Krunal Pandya also came up with a heartfelt post for his father. It was quite known how both Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya shared a beautiful bond with their father. However, he left for heavenly abode a few months back after battling a heart attack.
