Birthday’s are special. You look forward to celebrating it with fun and bash. Some are sort of different and just hope to chill out without any grand celebrations. Either way, no matter how old you are you look forward to it as a slightly different day. Everyone treats you as special (even if you are not worthy of a single penny). However, everyone has that one ‘punny’ friend won’t spare you even on that day and drop an insult.
The exact scenario happened with Shikhar Dhawan. The dashing left-hander today celebrates his 30th birthday and as expected wishes from his fans and followers began flooding for him. Virender Sehwag also was equally excited and decided to drop in and wish his Delhi junior.
But, not hard to guess for anyone who knows about Sehwag’s antics on twitter what he would have done. The Nawab of Najafgarh wished Dhawan in his typical ‘mazakiya’ style. In fact, the joke seemed a bit like roast where he indirectly mocked the latter’s poor form. Dhawan obviously won’t mind and would perhaps take this as a motivation do more Nagin dance than Bhoomi Poojan the next time he comes out to bat.
He tweeted:
“Happy Birthday @SDhawan25. May you do Bhoomi Poojan in dressing room and Naagin Dance on pitch for at least 2 hours every time while batting”

Dhawan is currently facing a big roadblock in his career, struggling with both poor form and injury. In the second Test against New Zealand at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, Dhawan was taken to a city hospital for an x-ray after the end of day three of second Test. The left-hander got hit on his left thumb by a Trent Boult bouncer.
Later, a fit-again Shikhar Dhawan is now vying for comeback amidst stiff competition comeback for the opening slot. The presence of KL Rahul and the return of Parthiv Patel has made his job quite tough. Fortune also doesn’t seem to be favoring him as he is yet make a remarkable score in the domestic circuit for his state side Delhi. Since recovering and making a comeback against Rajasthan, Dhawan has only managed scores of 49, 38 and 6.
