Navdeep Saini of India has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in the world cricket at the moment. Everyone around India, as well as around the world who is a hardcore fan of raw fast bowling, would be loving watching this Indian right-arm speedster deliver bullets at the batsmen while he bowls. Saini has been in an impressive form in the ongoing limited-overs home season for team India.
In 6 T20 Internationals so far, the rookie has taken 8 wickets at an average of 19. In the ongoing 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, the fast bowler has grabbed man of the match award for his excellent figures of 4 overs, 2 wickets for just 18 runs in the recently concluded 2nd T20I at Madhya Pradesh.
What stands Saini out from the other bunch of fast bowlers is his precise line and length with which he delivers those yorkers and short balls. To deliver those type of deliveries in hot and humid conditions of the Indian subcontinent, one needs to have a strong core and much more strength in their body. And to overcome this hurdle, Saini sweats it out a lot in the gym regularly to achieve a perfect well-maintained body strength.

Everyone knows that struggle of fast bowlers to remain fit throughout their cricketing career. The body eventually gives up if you don’t take care of it in a proper way by planning an advanced work regime and work hard in the gym day in day out. Saini easily clocks 150 kmph of speed while bowling in T20I on slow flat pitches of India.
Below, we will take a look at three main workouts which Saini goes through while he works hard in the gym daily. These exercises keep him fit and in shape to hold off the strain from which his body goes through when he constantly bowls over 145 kmph.
Sumo-deadlift, front squats are the exercises which Saini prefers to improve his powerlifting capacity. And to gain the strength with which he can up his speed while bowling he does relies on thruster exercise. To maintain the core is the most important thing for a fast bowler.
