Indian T20 League 2019, Match 48: Hyderabad vs Punjab – Fantain and Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips

Both Hyderabad and Punjab, who lost their previous games respectively, will be looking to return to winning ways and stay afloat in the race to the playoffs when they meet for match no. 48 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Hyderabad lost by seven wickets to Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, and hence have to win all their remaining three games to qualify for the playoffs. Punjab, who lost to Bangalore, has the same number of points as Hyderabad – 10 – but is ranked a spot below them due to lower net run rate. Hyderabad

Hyderabad’s middle order, except for Manish Pandey, has failed to chip in runs. Now with Jonny Bairstow back home and David Warner playing his last game against Punjab, the middle order will have to step out. Warner is flying back home on May 2 for World Cup preparations. Siddharth Kaul can be replaced by Sandeep Sharma.

David Warner – Since his comeback from serving the ban for ball tampering, Warner has scored 611 runs in the tournament and is the current ‘Orange Cap’ holder. This explains how badly he will be missed in the last two league games as he is returning home after this one. He is the perfect option for captaincy because he will be looking to end his season with Hyderabad on a high.

Chris Gayle – although the Hyderabad pitch is slow, Gayle is the kind of batsman who can thrive on any pitch condition. He, along with KL Rahul, has scored the bulk of Punjab’s runs and is thus a good option for your Fantain vice-captaincy.
