9. Kuldeep Yadav
With Ravindra Jadeja sustaining an injury during the third Test match at Sydney (SCG), Kuldeep Yadav was expected to replace him in the fourth Test match, However Team India surprised everyone by opting for Washington Sundar ahead of Kuldeep Yadav.
With conditions favouring spin bowling in India, there is a big chance for India to include the chinaman bowler in their XI against England in the first Test. Having last played a Test match in January of 2019, his erratic form has mostly kept Kuldeep out of India’s XI but the chinaman has a decent record in longest-format of the game.
Kuldeep Yadav has bagged 24 wickets to his name in the 6 Test matches he has played. His tally of 24 wickets includes two 5-wicket-hauls.
