Shivam Dube
After smashing Pravin Tambe in the 2018 edition of the Mumbai T20 League, Shivam Dube has come up the ranks at a brisk pace. He was impressive in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy and that earned him a contract in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Then, the swashbuckling all-rounder broke into the India ‘A’ team where he didn’t flatter to deceive either. Recently, he smacked 118 off 67 versus Karnataka at the Chinnaswamy. His knock was laced with seven fours and 10 sixes. Albeit the knock couldn’t take Mumbai home, Dube was lauded for his display of batting in Bangalore.
With most of the focus on his batting, his numbers with the ball can’t be dismissed. The 26-year-old Dube has 40, 34 and 14 wickets in first-class, List A and T20 cricket.
