India pacer Navdeep Saini has impressed many in his short international career already. Having played 5 ODIs and 10 T20Is, the fast bowler has troubled a lot of batsmen with his raw pace. Apart from possessing pace in his armoury, Saini is extremely fit as well and trains hard to make sure he is on top of his game.
Even during the lockdown, the cricketer has been active on social media posting pictures and videos of his training session to keep his fans and followers updated. And Navdeep Saini has impressed India’s top Tennis player Yuki Bhambri with his fitness.
On Friday, the 27-year-old pace bowler took to his official Instagram handle to post his own picture flaunting his six-pack abs and captioned it with a motivational thought. “If it would have been easy, I would not be on this path,” he wrote. Yuki Bhambri came across the post and compared his fitness with the iconic Football player Cristiano Ronaldo.

Navdeep Saini – Future star?
As far as Navdeep Saini’s career is concerned, he got backing from Gautam Gambhir during his time with Delhi Ranji team. And he has grabbed every opportunity to play for India so far. Though he is yet to play in Tests, many are looking at him as a future leader of the pace attack in the longest format for the team.
In his short international career thus far, Saini has picked five ODI and 13 T20I wickets. He has been impressive in the shortest format especially and the skipper Virat Kohli backs him a lot. The pacer also plays under the Indian captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL) while featuring for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In 13 IPL matches, he has scalped 11 wickets at an average of 26.2 which is decent for a fast bowler.
Navdeep Saini, like many cricketers, will be keen on returning to the field soon amid the pandemic and will be hoping to perform well for the country.
