Injured Wahab Riaz replaced by Zia in T20 series against Sri Lanka: Pakistan pacer Wahab Riaz’s injury has finally found him a replacement in form of Zia-ul-Haq for the T20 match against Sri Lanka in Colombo, as announced by the PCB previously. Wahab who sustained a fracture from the test series was included in the 15 men squad of the T20 team, in a hope to return to full fitness, which turned out to be disappointing, as he failed to recover. He bowled at the Lahore Cricket Academy but tweeted that he will need a week more to recover.

According to a PCB message “Wahab Riaz bowled in nets today at NCA, he still feels stiffness in his bowling hand. Thus he withdrew himself from T20s squad. Zia-ul-Haq already announced in the squad will replace him.”

Zia-ul-Hasan, 20-year-old fast bowler has played all the 6 matches of his cricket career in Sri Lanka, which includes three A-list and three first-class matches, with nine wickets haul.
