4. Shane Watson’s 124* against India

It was the last T20I match of the series which was played ay Sydney and after opting to bat first under the leadership non-regular captain named Shane Watson, Australia lost star batsman Usman Khawaja early and then Shaun Marsh but that did not stop Shane Watson from other end and he smashed Indian bowlers and notched up his first ton in T20I and became first Australia batsman to score a ton in all three formats and Australia have managed to put up a total of 197.

While chasing 198, India off to a very good start and lost Shikhar Dhawan in 3.2 overs but he had done the damage and with another mature knocks from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli helped India to stay in the game but both fall in quick succession to leg-spinner named Boyce but two comeback men named Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh did not lose their cool and helped India to cross the line and India clinched series by 3-0. This game also proved bowlers’ importance in T20I matches.
