Batting domination was more visible in first half of 2015 but changes in rules and bowling friendly tracks reduced it to a certain extent in the second half. Overall it was a year full of cricketing action.

New Zealand and South Africa dominated the ODI part along with Australia, who were crowned as World Cup champions while Asian teams India and Pakistan saw greater success in Test format along with Australia.
