On Wednesday, they shortlisted the list of 57 applications to 21 and has been sent to the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) comprising of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and VVS Laxman. The committee will be assisted by Sanjay Jagdale, who is the former secretary and national selector.

On Saturday, the Board’s high-profile Cricket Advisory Committee held their first meeting in this regard at the Cricket Centre in Mumbai. All the 21 shortlisted candidates will take part in the interview. CAC was given the freedom to interview anyone outside this list of 21 too.
