IPL 10: Complete list of awards to be won at the tournament end

Since the Indian Premier League is one of the most cash-rich leagues in the world, it becomes obvious that its prizes and awards for the winners will be as pricey and flashy. Each year, at the end of the league, various awards and cash prizes are given to the winners. The winning team gets Rs. 15 crores along with the prestigious trophy, while the runners-up have to contend themselves with Rs. 10 crores.

Last year, it was the Sunrisers Hyderabad who won the title, and Royal Challengers Bangalore were the runners-up. Orange cap was won by Virat Kohli, while the purple one went to Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Emerging player of the tournament was awarded to Mustafizur Rahman. Most sixes in the final went to Chris Gayle, Kohli took the award for most sixes in the tournament. Award for most fours went to David Warner, and Kohli again grabbed another award for having the most number of centuries in the tournament.

A total of 60 matches will be played in the tenth edition of the league. And all matches will have awards and prize money for the players.

Vodafone Superfast Fifty Award – Rs 10 lakh and trophy. Player who scored the fastest 50 in the season will get this award

Vitara Brezza Glam Shot of the Season – Rs 10 lakh, trophy and Brezza car

FBB Stylish Player of the Season – Rs 10 lakh and trophy

YES Bank Maximum Sixes (in a match) – Rs 1 lakh and trophy

FBB Stylish Player of the Day (in a match) – Rs 1 lakh and trophy

Orange Cap (Most runs in the tournament) – Rs 10 lakh and trophy

Purple Cap (Most wickets in the tournament) – Rs 10 lakh and trophy

Fair Play Award – Trophy to the team

Emerging Player Award (Players born after 1 April 1991, have played 5 or fewer Tests, 25 or less IPL matches at the start of the season and previously not won this award, are eligible. Winner selected by public vote on iplt20.com and TV commentators) – Rs 10 lakh

Most Valuable Player – Rs 10 lakh and trophy 18. Five (umpires and match referee) match officials of the final to receive mementoes 19.
