7 – Number of wins as captain for Steven Smith in IPL so far. He has led in 10 games with his side losing in only 3.
25 – Number of fifty plus scores Ajinkya Rahane has scored in IPL so far. Only David Warner (34), Gautam Gambhir (31), Virat Kohli (30), Rohit Sharma (30) and Suresh Raina (29) have more fifty-plus scores in IPL than Rahane.
27 – Balls taken by Ajinkya Rahane for his fifty in this game, his fastest fifty in IPL. His previous fastest fifty in IPL was in 32 balls against Mumbai Indians only in last season’s opening game.

185 – Target chased down by Rising Pune Supergiant in this game, the highest for any team against Mumbai Indians. Previous highest successful run-chase against Mumbai Indians is 184 by Chennai Super Kings in 2015 at Mumbai.
2012 – Last time Mumbai Indians won their first game of an IPL season was in 2012. Since then, they lost in first game of every IPL season.
