2. Yuzvendra Chahal – RCB:
Yuzvendra Chahal was the backbone of the RCB bowling line-up. The RCB bowling attack looked toothless owing to injury issues and lack of effectiveness. But, it was Chahal who showed the spark right from the start of the tournament. He was Kohli’s go-to man when it came to applying brakes to the opposition’s run flow and find the important breakthrough. Eventually, his brilliant show with the ball saw him end up as the second highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 21 wickets at 21.30 with an impressive economy rate of 7.42. He also earned his maiden India call-up for the tour of Zimbabwe on the back of these performances.
